Leg extensions                  5                8-10

Front Squats                       5                6-8

Lunges                                4                6-8

One Legged Leg Curls    4                 6-8

Begin each exercise with a minimum of two warm ups to a maximum of 4 sets at 30 - 50% of working weight.  Once the muscle is prepared, minimize the amount of load changes over the prescribed number of sets and reps.

 

Exercise 1:    Slow repetitions with equal emphasis on eccentric and concentric portions of movement.

Exercise 2:    Power repetitions; lots of explosion out of the start and slow return to beginning.

Exercise 3:    Forced contractions with pumping action; no lock outs and no pauses at either end of movements.

Exercise 4:    Regulated emphasis again on front and back part of movement.  Do not rush or risk losing pump.

Exercise 5:    Slowly perform these reps

Exercise 6:    Exploding again through concentric portion and controlled eccentric release.
